s a sculptor and dentist with special interest for forensic dentistry, facial reconstruction turned out to be the ideal combination of both talents. That’s why he went to the renowned Betty Pat. Gatliff in the U.S.A., where he started with his first reconstruction. Later he attended the professional course with Caroline Wilkinson and Richard Neave.
In the meanwhile he has already made dozens of reconstructions, most of them historical, and at the moment his great challenge is the making of the reconstructions for a great exposition about the Neanderthal, opening in October 2003 at the Gallo-Roman museum at Tongeren, Belgium
Molding, casting and finishing was realised by Dirk Claesen.
